Summer and Fall 2008 Registration Procedures: New Students

Summer 2008

Step 1: New Student

Schedule an appointment with your faculty adviser (see Norma Simmons, faculty@agts.edu or 417-268-1070 ).

Contact the Registrar’s Office for registration information. List your course selections on the online registration form (you will need to create an account first) Discrepancies on your degree program should be reported to the Registrar’s Office (417-268-1025, registrar@agts.edu ).

Remember: You are ultimately responsible to take the correct courses to satisfy the degree requirements as stated in the catalog.

Complete and sign the registration card (i.e., name/social security number/course selections, etc.).  When you list your course selections, check course numbers, hours and total credits to be sure they are correct. If a class is cross-listed [MSS 637/CE 628], select the appropriate letter designated for your degree.

Step 2: Academic Adviser

Discuss your course selections with your adviser (see Norma Simmons, faculty@agts.edu or 417-268-1070). The adviser must approve your selections, sign the registration card, and return all forms to you. (If registering online, see instructions on the online form.)

Step 3: Registrar's Office

Submit your registration form(s) to the Registrar's Office. Academic registration must be finalized on or before the first day of class (see Geneva Heiskell, registrar@agts.edu or 417-268-1025).

Step 4: Business Office

Financial registration for the summer semester must be finalized on or before the first day of class.  Failure to complete financial registration will result in your being dropped from your classes (see Steve Miramonti, businessoffice@agts.edu or 417-268-1035).

Step 5: Bookstore

Contact the AGTS Bookstore to select books (bookstore@agts.edu or 417-268-1055).

Fall 2008
