God’s Women—Then and Now (a biblical basis for women in ministry and leadership), co-authored by Deborah Gill (‘78/’79) and Barbara Cavaness (’75), is now out in its second edition (by Authentic Media of OM Publishers) both in English and Tamil in India. They also wrote an accompanying Study Guide with discovery-learning questions suitable for individual reflection or group interaction which is available in six languages.  Drs. Gill, Cavaness, and (Beth) Grant (’79) recently spoke at conferences in Bangalore, Kolkatta, and Chennai (formerly Madras) at the invitation of the All India Women’s Committee.

The AG Ministry to the Blind has also made the book available for the blind on audio cassettes.  Gill and Cavaness are now writing an Independent Study Text/course on the book for Global University at the baccalaureate level.
