The Cordas C. Burnett Center for Biblical Preaching promotes lifelong learning for growth, depth and effectiveness of the preaching ministry of the church. The center promotes:

• growth, both spiritually (correcting, renewing and encouraging believers through teaching sound doctrine) and in numbers (drawing people to Christ and building up the local church).
• depth, in understanding Scripture and the maturity of the believer.
• effective, vibrant faith, leading people to Christ in the model of the New Testament Church through the preaching of the Word.

The center offers a concentration in expository preaching in the Master of Divinity program. A non-credit certification is also available.

AGTS is indebted to Pastor John Lindell and James River Assembly in Ozark, Mo., whose significant grant made possible the first year development of the center.
