Cookie Day

• December 14, AGTS Balcony
• Celebrate the completion of your final exams by enjoying a variety of holiday cookies, hot cider or coffee and enjoy a time of fellowship with AGTS administration, faculty and staff.

AGTS Christmas Banquet

• Saturday, December 4, 6-8 p.m., at the Evangel Crusader Dining Hall
• Enjoy a time of fun, food and fellowship as the AGTS community celebrates the birth of our Savior and Lord.
• Children, ages 2-10, will have a separate event conducted by Praise Assembly’s Master’s Commission. Children should be dressed for fun and pizza.
• For further details, contact JC Duncan or any SAC officer.

SAC Food Drive

• Bless families in our community this Christmas by donating imperishable goods.
• Food drive ends December 11.

Spring Lectureship Series

• January 17-20 with Dr. Stanley Grenz
• In addition to his Tuesday-Thursday chapel presentations, he will be speaking in several classes.
• Students will have the opportunity to interact with Dr. Grenz during a Q&A luncheon on Wednesday, January 19. We are grateful to the Student Advisory Council for providing the complimentary luncheon.
• Immediately following the luncheon, Dr. Grenz will be available to autograph his books.

• Report forwarding addresses or changes to the Registrar’s Office
• An update form is also available at www.agts.edu.

Spring Registration

• If you have not yet registered for classes in the spring semester, plan to do so before January 3.

Late Spring Loans

• It is still possible to receive a spring loan.
• However, funds may not be available on the first day of class. Therefore, one-third down payment may be required on the first day of class.

Loan Exit Interview

• Required by federal government if you received Stafford Loans and plan to:
  • Graduate in December 2004
  • Enroll for less than six hours in spring 2005
  • Will not return to seminary for spring semester
• If so, you must attend the exit interview, December 2, 1:30 p.m., Room 229.

Contact Financial Aid Office Immediately

• If planning to withdraw from seminary
• If taking less than six hours in spring semester

New Automated Library System

• The AGTS Library has joined the MOBIUS library consortium and, over the next few weeks, will be transitioning into the use of a new automated library system.
• This means students will be using a new online catalog to search for books and other resources and that the circulation staff will be adjusting to a new online circulation system.
• We thank you for your patience during this time of transition and, in the near future, we look forward to letting you know more about the benefits our new arrangement with MOBIUS will provide.

• Students whose accounts are not paid in full will not be permitted to enroll for any subsequent semesters until their outstanding balance has been paid in full.

• Dr. Warren Newberry
  • Taught a two week module at APTS in Baguio City, Philippines, November 22-December 3.
  • Preached a missions conference in October in Hyattsville, Maryland at the Church of the Living God, where Dr. Ebby Anyamba (AGTS grad) is the director of missions and Dr. Stephen Gyermeh (AGTS grad) is pastor.
• Dr. Dene Wood
  • Taught “The Essence of Mentoring” at a joint session of the district Women’s Leaders Conference and the District Missionettes Leadership Development Seminar in Springfield, Missouri, August 9.
• Dr. Steve Lim
  • Spoke at the District Pastor’s Conference in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, November 16-18.
  • Spoke for campus outreach at the University in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, also on November 16-18.
• Dr. Roger Cotton
  • Taught a seminary course, “Theological Research,” through a Russian translator, at the International Center for Christian Leadership in Kiev, Ukraine, on November 1-5.
• Dr. Joseph Castleberry
  • Taught at the American Indian College in Phoenix, Arizona, on November 1-3.
  • Was the main speaker for the General Council of the Assemblies of God in Cochabamba, Bolivia, on November 8-14.
  • Speaker for evangelistic campaign in Murcia, Spain, November 15-21.

  • Wrote “The Dynamics of  Mentoring,” a unit of study in the Missionettes Leadership Development Units: Bronze Level, a leadership study series produced by the Missionettes Department, GPH, August 2004.
