About the Program
You can pursue a D.Min. degree with a concentration in Professional Coaching from AGTS. Upon graduation from AGTS, a participating student will fully qualify to submit a portfolio application for either Associate Certified Coach or Professional Certified Coach credential with the International Coach Federation (depending upon the number of client coaching hours they choose to log). You will study with some of the finest Christian coaches in the world. As a member of this cohort, you will become part of a community of Christian coaches—a cadre of Great-Commission professionals committed to using coaching in the ministries of the church as well as in the marketplace mission field.
Coaching is a practical and valuable set of skills for both ministry and marketplace settings, where coaches help leaders make meaningful change, develop new management styles, make wise desicions, and become more influential. Truly excellent coaching is a powerful discipleship tool. Professional and spirit directed coaching helps people reach new heights in regard to their personal goals taking them from where they are to where God wants them to be.

- All applicants must have a minimum of three years of full-time ministry experience and currently serve in a full-time ministry capacity.
D.Min. Comprehensive Fee: $17,900 payable in 11 installments of $1,627 over the course of the program.

Deborah has studied coaching with the Institute for Life Coach Training, the Church Multimplcation Training Center, The Columbia Partnership, and several other short courses. She has served as a church planting coach and preaching coach and has coached teaching assistants, graduate students, female ministers, and many other individuals as part of her previous work as a pasotor and church leader (Commissioner of Discipleship for the AG), and now as a teacher.
