D.Min. Admission:
Requirements
Admission Requirements
There are four basic criteria that define eligibility for the
program:
- Degree: an accredited M.Div. or its equivalent
(72 accredited graduate hours within certain broad distribution
requirements). See M.Div. Equivalency
- Grades: a minimum cumulative GPA in accredited
graduate study of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Experience: at least three
years of full-time ministry following completion of the first
professional master’s degree
- Vocation: currently involved in full-time
ministry context (e.g., pastor, missionary, teacher, denominational
or para-church leader, chaplain, evangelist, counselor, etc.)
If you do not hold an M.Div. contact the D.Min. Team (dmin@agts.edu)
for an M.Div. Equivalency Evaluation, and see the FasTrak page,
the pre-doctoral experience at AGTS that can bring an MA holder
to D.Min. eligibility in half the time.
Applicants to the program are not required to have taken biblical
languages.
