About the Program

You can pursue a D.Min. degree with a concentration in Professional Coaching from AGTS.Upon graduation from AGTS, a participating student will fully qualify to submit a portfolio application for either Associate Certified Coach or Professional Certified Coach credential with the International Coach Federation (depending upon the number of client coaching hours they choose to log). You will study with some of the finest Christian coaches in the world. As a member of this cohort, you will become part of a community of Christian coaches—a cadre of Great-Commission professionals committed to using coaching in the ministries of the church as well as in the marketplace mission field.

Coaching is a practical and valuable set of skills for both ministry and marketplace settings, where coaches help leaders make meaningful change, develop new management styles, make wise decisions, and become more influential. Truly excellent coaching is a powerful discipleship tool. Professional and spirit directed coaching helps people reach new heights in regard to their personal goals taking them from where they are to where God wants them to be.

The Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) is a 30-credit program (9 one-week classes) built around reflection on the practice of ministry while you serve in your local context. More than a degree, the AGTS D.Min. is a journey of personal transformation in which you will be joined by a diverse cohort of your peers.
