Jim Harris

Professor Harris served as a youth pastor and was ordained in 1984. He pastored for six years in California, taught for four years as an adjunct instructor in Behavioral Sciences at Evangel College, and taught as an adjunct professor in Counseling and Family Therapy at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary before joining the full-time faculty. Professor Harris is a licensed professional counselor in Missouri and a clinical member of the American Association for Marital and Family Therapy. He worked for several years in inpatient psychiatric hospitals. He also maintains a private practice, specializing in marital and family therapy.
