Devastating Ice Storm Hits Southwest
Missouri
Southwest Missouri has experienced an ice
storm that some are calling the worst natural disaster in Missouri history.
25,000 homes are still without power in Springfield with twice that number
in the surrounding region.
Classes have been cancelled this week (January 16-20) and will resume
on Monday, January 22. Offices are open as of Thursday, January 19.
The Library is open per its normal schedule. Students who would
like to warm up are welcome to come to the Great Hall for hot beverages.
This truly is a trying time. Scores of AGTS students and employees
have been without power since Saturday, January 13, and need your continued
prayer.
The Gary Collins Counseling Lectureship has been postponed until February
6-8. See revised
schedule.
