Springfield, Missouri, April 22, 2005—The Assemblies of
God Theological Seminary (AGTS) is proud to announce the official
opening of its newest branch campus at American Indian College
(AIC) in Phoenix, Arizona. The nationally and regionally accredited Master
of Arts in Christian Ministries degree can be completed in its
entirety at this campus.
The program is built on a cohort model, bringing students
into a collaborative education experience. The courses, offered
in one-week (Monday through Friday) modules, make it possible
to balance education and ministry schedules. Every course
will focus on practical learning experiences related to
the current issues of ministry, and will also utilize the
excellent teaching resources of the southwest region, along with AGTS
resident and national adjunct faculties.
There are two courses scheduled this year. The first, June
13-17, will cover the interpersonal issues involved in pastoral
care and counseling with Nancy Saggio, an experienced counselor
and life coach.
The second, September 26-30, will focus on the methods
of biblical preaching with master communicator Dick Dresselhaus
(member, AGTS Board of Directors and visiting professor).
