Why are scholarships needed!

Examples of currently endowed scholarships

Goal: To honor pastors and leaders by creating endowment funds which will provide scholarships to students.

• Make a donation
  • Minimum Gift: $10,000.
  • Within one to five years, an additional $20,0000 should be added to the initial investment. A fund of $30,000 can provide a $1,500 scholarship annually. Presently, this would cover about 12% of the annual average cost to a full-time student.
  • A $50,000 endowment could provide a 20% scholarship!

• Name the endowment In honor of the donor or person chosen by the donor(s), i.e. The John Smith Honors Scholarship.

• Set the criteria for selecting the scholarship recipient (download the form).

• Be a Blessing Forever: Once the funds and criteria are in place, the scholarship fund would be a perpetual means of bringing honor to the person for whom the endowment is named. At the same time, a qualified student will be honored with a scholarship which would help to supply his/her financial need.
