What is the AGTS Partnership Program?

The AGTS Partnership Program provides a select group of students the opportunity to earn a Master of Divinity degree and enter full-time ministry with very little educational debt.

The program is a unique partnership between AGTS, the student and the student’s Support Team, a network of friends and family who choose to participate prayerfully and financially with the student and AGTS.

How does it work?

Students seeking to join the AGTS Partnership Program must:

  • Identify a church that is willing to support the AGTS Partnership Program Scholarship Fund with $100 each month and provide a supporting letter from the senior pastor
  • Identify, through a network of family and friends, 17 partnering units that are willing to become part of the student’s Support Team and support the AGTS Partnership Program Scholarship Fund with $45 each month
  • Participate in an annual leadership summit with leading pastors and key businesspersons
  • Maintain monthly contact with the student’s Support Team

What are the benefits?

AGTS and the student’s Support Team will join together to provide:

  • 60% reduction in tuition costs (which means paying less than $450* per course!)
  • Prayer for the student’s education and training
  • Valuable insights into stewardship principles and team building that will be foundational for a successful, healthy ministry
  • Networking opportunities with leading pastors and key businesspersons

*Current as of the 2005-06 academic year. Subject to change thereafter.
