Khaleel-Gilleland
Maria Khaleel-Gilleland (M.A. in Biblical Literature, 2002)
is senior pastor of New Life AG, Pembroke Pines, Fla., which
she planted in 1992.
A multicultural congregation with 30 nationalities
represented, New Life runs approximately 700 in attendance. About
80% of these are new converts.
Khaleel was the first woman elected
presbyter in the Peninsular Florida District, and she continues
to serve in that capacity. She has also been a member of the
AG National Evangelism Committee and the AG’s national
Task Force for Women in Ministry.
Khaleel’s burden for
revival—a “fresh Pentecost”—has taken
her across the United States to preach at revivals, camp meetings,
district events and seminars.
