Maria Khaleel-Gilleland

Maria Khaleel-Gilleland (M.A. in Biblical Literature, 2002) is senior pastor of New Life A/G, Pembroke Pines, Fla., which she planted in 1992.

A multicultural congregation with 30 nationalities represented, New Life runs approximately 700 in attendance. About 80% of these are new converts.

Khaleel was the first woman elected presbyter in the Peninsular Florida District, and she continues to serve in that capacity. She has also been a member of the A/G National Evangelism Committee and the A/G’s national Task Force for Women in Ministry.

Khaleel’s burden for revival—a “fresh Pentecost”—has taken her across the United States to preach at revivals, camp meetings, district events and seminars.
