Michael Brown (M.A. graduate), with his wife, Julie, has moved to Midlothian, Texas, to assume the role of student development coordinator at The Oaks Fellowship in Red Oak, Texas.
Michael will oversee the spiritual formation of Master’s Commission students and aid them as they transition to college life at Southwestern University, Waxahachie, Texas.
Prior to answering the call to come to AGTS, Michael worked for the largest long-term health-care organization in the country as a divisional marketing consultant for the western United States.

Debra Brown (D.Min. graduate) presented her project synopsis at the D.Min. Symposium on Friday, May 4. Debra is the pastor of ministry transformation at Sheffield Family Life Center, Kansas City, Mo.
“The community at AGTS equipped me as a woman and a person of color,” said Debra. “I am forever changed through the process of ‘iron sharpening iron’ that occurred through interaction with my peers and professors in the classroom. AGTS offered me support and safety to explore and develop from a holistic perspective. This has enhanced and empowered my ministry in serving God and his kingdom!” |
Dr. Peter Kuzmic delivered the keynote address during Commencement on May 5.
Dr. Kuzmic is the founding president of the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Zagreb/Osijek, Croatia, the first evangelical theological college in Eastern Europe with a graduate program.
Dr. Kuzmic is the foremost evangelical scholar in Eastern Europe and an internationally recognized authority on the subjects of a Christian response to Marxism and Christian ministry in post-Communist contexts.
A native of Slovenia and
a citizen of Croatia in former Yugoslavia, he is a missionary-at-large for AG World Missions. |
